About Us

Cath Graham, proprietor and lead designer of Make It Pretty, was born and raised in Swansea, South Wales. She attended Morriston Comprehensive School and graduated with, amongst other qualifications, an "A" in Art and Design. On leaving school Cath pursued a career as a display artist and window dresser with Debenhams, Swansea and on her return to Tenby in 1987 was employed by Boots Chemist who also picked up on her diverse skills and sent her on a course with the British Display Society. This career path enabled Cath to use her flair and creativity to produce some truly remarkable displays, a skill she has since adapted to fit her wedding decor business with great aplomb.

After Cath started making greeting cards and invitations for friends and family, which were always very well received, a good friend suggested she take her creations to a much wider audience and as a result Make it Pretty was born. Initially specialising in wedding stationery the phenomenal demand for these items soon meant that Cath had to expand her operation. As a result she now offers a full wedding design service, able to help the happy couple with all of their needs for their perfect setting, elegant chair covers with a range of beautiful bows, wraps and sashes, using the most exclusive and luxurious materials, feature draping and lighting curtains, top table backdrops to name a few.

Now based in Tenby, South West Wales, Cath has been successfully running Make it Pretty for over 7 years and has organised hundreds of weddings for very satisfied clients. She is currently studying BA in Contemporary Textiles at the West Wales School of the Arts Carmarthen. She is hopeful that this will enable her to be on top of current trends and therefore offer a better service more exclusive than anyone in South West Wales.
